Media does not merely carry the work. It helps shape the conditions under which the work appears, connects, and remains active. Socioplastics takes this seriously. It does not treat platforms as neutral pipes through which the same content passes unchanged. Each medium modifies pressure, rhythm, access, and legibility. Some layers simplify entry, some layers sustain continuity, some layers accumulate mass, and some layers stabilise selected strata into durable scholarly form. This means that media becomes part of the system itself. The field is not only written through concepts, but also through the differentiated roles assigned to its channels. That is why distribution here does not produce fragmentation. It produces a more precise ecology of functions. One of the clearest disciplinary frameworks for this can be found here: https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.19162359 and the distributed field that gives that framework public form can be entered here: https://socioplastics.blogspot.com/2026/04/master-index-socioplastics-tomes-i-ii.html.
