Anto Lloveras (b. 1975), Madrid-based architect, artist, urbanist, and theorist, enacts a decisive displacement of architectural authorship from object production toward epistemic system design, transforming spatial practice into a metabolic and juridical protocol. Educated at ETSAM and initially engaged in large-scale urban projects in the Netherlands, his early professional trajectory within conventional architectural frameworks catalysed a critical rupture from object-centric formalism toward Socioplastics, a sovereign theoretical architecture reconceiving art, urbanism, and design as dynamic regulatory ecologies rather than static artefacts. Structured through the Decalogue 501–510, operationally calibrated by the PlasticScale, and jurisprudentially extended via MUSE and the 700-Series on Urban Territorial Metabolism, Socioplastics advances a legal-architectural infrastructure intended to secure epistemic sovereignty under conditions of algorithmic volatility and ecological precarity. This paradigm materialises in LAPIEZA, an experimental platform hosting over seventy-five exhibitions that dissolve artist–audience binaries into relational fields, and in Urbanas, a research praxis activating the city as both narrative substrate and analytical instrument. Works such as Blue Bags, MUDAS, and El Dorado exemplify a methodology of minimal imposition and high relational persistence, privileging unstable installations, vernacular readymades, and performative diptychs over commodifiable permanence. A salient synthesis appears in the Lagos Biennial collaboration re-(t)exHile, where textile operates as infrastructural mediator within a transcontinental epistemic mesh. Ultimately, Lloveras displaces biography with topology, proposing architecture as executable protocol and curatorial practice as structural transmission, thereby articulating a quiet yet radical redefinition of spatial agency for post-digital and structurally unstable epochs.
